Upper Shillong: "Wow, it is more than amazing! Today is the greatest day ever in my life. We are the Champions,very wonderful!"  Zawngia told Maraland Post.

The 4th  Late Rev. HL Rapthap Memorial Football Tournament  final match is kicked off today at 2:00 PM and B.D.-III Final Year wins the Tournament. B.D.- III Final Year defeated B.D.- III New Course by 7-1. This is the Inter-Class Annual Tournament of John Roberts Theological Seminary. There are five teams in all.

"We are the Champions"

From the Champion Team, Syndrop netted to be the opener in 10 min. and added another goal in second half. Baniarap, who is in the bench since last year, also braces with two goals; Rieweh also gives another two more goals. The last goal is through the hard work of Comborlin. All players are playing well.

 "To be a Champion is not easy at any Tournament. I knew our opponent who played very well in the last Semi Final match, so I told my team players to be careful but the only chance to win is that our unity in one spirit. At last, we did it," Zawngia, the coach as well as player told the Post.

The coach of Final Year Team replaced Comborlin after second half. As soon as he stepped inside the playground, the audience give applause to the one who is going to retire from all tournament as a player. As cited in the previous post, Zawngia has already announced that he is going to take off his jersey after this tournament. It is amazing that he is one of the few coaches who can win the Tournament and is also a player at the same time.

At the moment of Tournament closing function, the Champion  Class presents a beautiful number with a very joyful heart led by Werkupar and singing,

This is our joyous moment which happens only once in a life time.
